Tianjin, March 1 (Xinhua) - The port of Tianjin Port of China, imports of iron ore increase approximately 60 percent year in the year to 57.06 million of Tons last year, Tianjin's customs said on Monday.

The growth sustained in imports of iron ore has been attributed to the high demand for raw materials of the country steel industry that obtained an impulse as a result of the Effective epidemic control of China in 2020.

Iron ore imports through private companies doubled at 17.59 million tons in the period, while through state enterprises, it emerged from 50 percent 27 million tons.
