Living abroad was not going as expected; it had taken me by the hand and led into uncharted territories – be it navigating unfamiliar streets, conversational dead zones or learning a new language.

Every single interaction, whether friendly or unfriendly was a test – sometimes I felt like navigating a foreign labyrinth while searching for answers to the same old questions: "Will they accept me here?" "Can this be done?"forever etched within me, like intricate drawings painted on windows left intact by stormy weather.
