Beijing, November 22 (Xinhua) - The Chinese National Health Commission said on Sunday that it received reports of 17 cases of newly confirmed COVID-19 on Saturday Chinese continent, Included three transmitted at the national level and 14 imported cases.

Of the cases of national transmission, two were reported in the internal Mongolia and one in Shanghai, the Commission said in its daily report.

No new presumed cases or disease related to the disease were reported on Saturday, the Commission said.

The new imported cases were reported in Fujian, Shanghai, Shaanxi, Beijing, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Guangxi and Sichuan, said the commission.

At the end of Saturday, a total of 3,775 imported cases had been reported on the" target="_BLANK">continent. Among them, 3,474 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 301 were hospitalized. No deaths have been reported by imported cases.

On Saturday, nine Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese continent.

As of Saturday, the total number of COVID-19 cases confirmed on the continent reached 86,431, including 316 patients who are still treated, with five under conditions Severe.

In total, 81,481 patients had been discharged after recovery, and 4,634 had died of the disease in the continent, the Commission said.
