An impressive LED light show was presented on Wednesday night at Tianjin to celebrate the 616th birthday of the coastal city.

The Great Event was organized into the Torre de Tambor of the city, which was built in 1404 when Tianjin was established as a city of the fortress to protect the capital, Beijing, during the Ming Dynasty (1368- 1644).

In an attempt to prevent the propagation of the coronavirus, only 4,000 people joined the celebrations for online pre-registration.

Some other activities that include a Crostalk show, a popular art favored by local residents, was performed simultaneously with the light show.
